a brief history of time
my name is s and i get paid to get people drunk.
a few facts of note about me before i explain the purpose of this blog...i graduated with three degrees from a regent university in iowa. post grad i attempted to get a job in event marketing in chicago, but it didn't work out. helllllo recession. now i'm back in des moines, living downtown, working in a bar and trying to figure out what i'm going to do with my life. i'm a music junkie, a work out junkie and (most importantly) a cocktail junkie.
i'm starting this blog as a collection of all the crazy things that happen to me while i'm at work. it recently dawned on me that someday my life will actually slow down so i need to enjoy the lifestyle while i have it. and, as much as it pains me to type this, i actually kind of miss writing.
this website will mostly be anecdotes from my time behind the bar, peppered with a few mp3s and cocktail recipes to get your parties started. so pop a bottle and get ready to be overserved in des moines.
